Group B Strep testing is usually performed around 36 weeks with a swab on the vulva and anus. Sometimes healthcare providers will test GBS in urine as early as 12 weeks.

This wash does not guarantee a negative GBS test. There are many variables that cause an overgrowth of the group b strep bacteria and the most effective preventative is through diet.
