Have you ever tried a castor oil pack for clogged ducts? Castor oil and heat help your milk ducts open up and allow milk to flow more easily, as well as reduce inflammation.

If you don’t have time for a castor oil pack, you can also massage a small amount into duct. 

Our castor oil is cold pressed and infused with anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial herbs such as lavender, chamomile, elderflower, calendula, and usnea. We also add in a touch of emu oil for it's power to ease pain and carry the infused oil into the duct.

Castor oil is just one of many solutions for clogged ducts because it can bring quicker relief.

Other favorite forms of relief:

Dangle feeding, breast massage under a hot shower, homeopathic remedies such as Phytolacca 30 C and Silicea 10 C.

Ingredients

Cold pressed castor oil*, lavender*, calendula*, chamomile*, elderflower*, usnea*, emu oil

*organic or wildcrafted

How to use

Directions:

1. You’ll need a small piece of cotton or flannel, castor oil, parchment paper, and a heating pad or rice pouch.

2. Pour about a tablespoon or so of castor oil onto the cloth.

3. Place castor oil cloth onto clogged duct.

4. Cover the cloth with a piece of wax or parchment paper to protect the heating pad or rice sock from becoming saturated with castor oil.

5. Place heating pad set on low or warm rice pouch (I sell one in the store front) on top of the parchment paper.

6. Let sit for 20 minutes, then wash the area with soap and water to remove the castor oil before pumping or nursing (castor oil can cause diarrhea).

7. Pump or nurse :)

Repeat 2-3 times per day.

The cloth flannel or cotton saturated piece can be reused several times. Place it in a bag for future use. No need to wash—it can be used as is. If it dries out, more castor oil can be added.
